I’m Andi Roach, the writer and independent researcher behind The Complex Rebel. My work examines how power operates across workplaces, institutions, technology, and everyday life.

My work brings together my lived experience with complex trauma, my business expertise, and independent research. I write about the connections between organizational power, technology, labor, and survival.

I developed Hierarchical Trauma Systems (HTS) as a working framework for tracing how systems organize power by displacing instability. It connects the roles people occupy with the conditions that reward those roles, and asks whether authority stays linked to accountability.

I’m also writing The White-Collar Survival Guide, a book about workplace language, organizational power, and the costs hidden inside expectations of performance and adaptability.

Through essays and cultural critique, including Meet Your Overlords™, I translate complex systems into language people can examine and use.
